A decade of conversations about the future: Warsaw to host the 10th edition of Masters & Robots

The 10th anniversary edition of Masters & Robots will take place on 20-21 October 2026 in Warsaw. For the tenth time, the conference will explore the challenges of digital transformation and how AI and exponential technologies are reshaping business, the labour market, geopolitics and cybersecurity. Speakers will include neuroscientist Vivienne Ming, behavioural economics expert Phil Barden and investigative journalist Geoff White. Attendees will also see Poland’s first humanoid robot fashion show.

10 years of Masters & Robots: technology in times of uncertainty

We are entering one of the most volatile periods in history. AI, social media and exponential technologies are changing the world at a pace no previous generation has experienced. For 10 years, Masters & Robots has helped participants navigate this turbulent landscape.

“For a decade, Masters & Robots has broken new ground and set the standard for technology events in Poland,” says Jowita Michalska, CEO of Digital University.

“We were the first to invite some of the world’s leading experts across the broad field of new technologies to Poland. This year’s anniversary theme, ‘Turbulence ahead. Buckle up!’, sends a clear message that the years ahead will demand even greater vigilance and courage. That is why we want to equip leaders with ‘seat belts’ – practical tools to help them operate effectively amid constant uncertainty,” she adds.

Ten years of bringing together visionaries and shaping the digital future

Since 2017, Masters & Robots has been one of Central and Eastern Europe’s leading platforms for sharing knowledge about new technologies. Over the years, its stage has welcomed internationally renowned figures including Peter Diamandis, Amy Webb, Kevin Kelly, Seth Godin, Natasha Vita-More, Yuval Noah Harari, Mo Gawdat, Kai-Fu Lee and David Hanson.

This year’s programme brings together thought leaders who examine technological development from the perspectives of human needs, behavioural science and market dynamics. Speakers include Nick Bostrom, the world-renowned philosopher and author of the groundbreaking book Superintelligence, who will join Dariusz Jemielniak for an on-stage conversation; Natalia Hatalska, a trend researcher; Johan Norberg, a historian of ideas who examines the forces that drive progress in times of crisis; Patrycja Slawuta, a behavioural science expert exploring the human mind’s resilience in the face of change; Vivienne Ming, a neuroscientist developing technologies that enhance human potential; Phil Barden, a recognised authority on behavioural economics; Geoff White, an acclaimed investigative journalist specialising in cybercrime; and Adam Pantanowitz, a biomedical engineer and creator of the pioneering Brainternet project, which connects the human brain directly to the internet.

One of the most spectacular highlights of the programme will be Poland’s first humanoid robot fashion show. The event is being developed with technology support from x-kom robotics and in collaboration with the Institute of Creative Industries, which has engaged acclaimed Polish designers to create unique collections for a new generation of robots.

The public sector and business working together on digital transformation

Masters & Robots’ strategic partners include leading companies and public institutions that help shape Poland’s innovation ecosystem. Among them are BNP Paribas Bank Polska, Sebastian Kulczyk’s InCredibles programme and DXC Technology. The Ministry of Digital Affairs is also one of the conference’s main partners.

“The Ministry of Digital Affairs’ mission is to build a strong, modern and secure economy in Poland. To achieve this, we must invest not only in technology, but above all in people – in their digital skills and their ability to make informed and responsible use of the opportunities new technologies offer. That is why events such as Masters & Robots are so important to us. I believe that only dialogue between representatives of business, academia and public administration will enable us to prepare for the challenges of digital transformation that lie ahead,” says Krzysztof Gawkowski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, who will also speak at the event.

Other partners of Masters & Robots 2026 include HPE, Erste, IKEA, Visa, OLX, PFR, Nationale-Nederlanden, Centre for Information Technology (COI) NASK, VeloBank, the Cyberium Foundation (KIR), Symfonia, PARP, Nest Bank, Synektik, Totalizator Sportowy and PKO BP.
