AIBA Conference to Take Place in Katowice on 21–23 October 2026

How is technology transforming business? Does adopting artificial intelligence guarantee profits? Will AI really replace people in the workplace? These are just some of the questions to be explored at the AIBA Conference, taking place from 21 to 23 October 2026 at the Silesian Museum in Katowice, Poland.

AIBA is an international conference dedicated to the practical application of artificial intelligence in business, technology, research and organisational development. The event addresses the growing need to discuss not only the potential of AI, but, more importantly, how organisations can implement the technology effectively while keeping people at the centre of the process.

Now in its fourth year, the conference will focus primarily on where AI delivers tangible business value and competitive advantage. Discussions will also examine how organisations can prepare for AI adoption and ensure that AI-powered solutions are secure, scalable and genuinely useful in people’s everyday work.

“We have been organising AIBA for four years, consistently exploring the possibilities that artificial intelligence opens up for businesses and institutions. Although AI technology is at the heart of our discussions, people — their needs, skills and potential — remain our priority. That is why AIBA provides a space to explore how we can build a relationship between people and technology in which artificial intelligence does not replace the human perspective, but supports us in making decisions, developing innovations and shaping the future of business,” says Małgorzata Skorupa, Vice-President of the Silesian Startup Foundation and Conference Coordinator.

AI from Four Different Perspectives

The AIBA Conference 2026 programme is divided into four tracks: Business, Cloud & AI, Research & Innovations, and Academia.

The programme will feature presentations, case studies and discussions examining both successful AI implementations and the challenges and mistakes encountered along the way.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore artificial intelligence from multiple perspectives, ranging from its impact on business strategy and product development to the infrastructure required to deploy and scale AI systems, as well as research into the technology and its effects on people.

This year’s conference will bring together nearly 60 experts actively experimenting with artificial intelligence. Confirmed speakers include representatives from Asana, Kuchnia Vikinga, Cloudfresh, Scaleway, Play, Erste Bank, Netflix, Google, Amazon Web Services and Waymo.

The event will also feature representatives from international academic institutions, including the University of Cambridge and Bern Business School, as well as unDavos, the largest independent conference for leaders, investors and innovators, held in Davos, Switzerland, alongside the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting.

AIBA is aimed at professionals responsible for business development, technology, innovation and product development, as well as entrepreneurs who are still considering whether, where and how AI could be applied within their organisations. No specialist technical knowledge is required to attend.

Beyond the Conference Sessions

Networking and the exchange of experiences are also central to AIBA.

For the first time in 2026, the conference will introduce a dedicated matchmaking session, allowing registered companies, startups, academics and research and development institutions to arrange short, one-to-one meetings with individuals and organisations whose interests and potential areas of collaboration align with their own.

Another new addition to this year’s programme is the final of the inaugural IFIRMA Startup Contest 2026, where eight selected Polish startups developing AI-based solutions will present their projects on the AIBA stage.

“Above all, we want AIBA to be a space for open conversations where everyone can share their ideas and perspectives. We believe that innovation emerges where different viewpoints, human creativity and technological capabilities come together. We want to encourage discussion about how to develop this collaboration so that technology does not replace people, but strengthens their potential and helps us navigate the economic transformation we are witnessing,” Skorupa adds.

The AIBA Conference will take place from 21 to 23 October 2026 at the Silesian Museum in Katowice, Poland. The main conference programme will be accessible both in person and via livestream, while the third day will be dedicated to workshops.
